About Mrs. Bennie’s
Welcome to Mrs. Bennie’s, a heartfelt tribute to my mom and a soul-nourishing journey of healing through crafting.
My mom was a wonder woman, happy by nature, kind by choice. She dedicated over 40 years of her life as an RN, caring for others with compassion and grace. In 2012, our family faced a profound loss when my dad passed away after battling cancer. My mom, in her true resilient spirit, uplifted us through grief, reminding us that healing begins with love and hope. She became a beacon of kindness—volunteering at local churches, supporting those in hard times, and spreading joy wherever she went.
In 2020, my mom was diagnosed with dementia, and her health declined rapidly. She peacefully passed in September 2021. In her honor, I donate a portion of every sale at Mrs. Bennie’s to alz.org, keeping her memory alive and supporting others on similar journeys.
After losing her, I found solace in creating candles and soaps, turning grief into a form of healing and love. My early attempts weren’t perfect, but each step brought me closer to my passion. Using my background in engineering, math, and chemistry, I craft unique scents and formulations that make my products special. Every item is infused with love, kindness, and the spirit of hope.
This is more than just a business,it's a celebration of love, memory, and the art of handmade craftsmanship. I love hearing how my candles and soaps can brighten someone’s day, turn a bad evening into a peaceful night, or bring a moment of comfort.
Join me on this journey. Let’s create beauty, healing, and connection—one handmade product at a time.
